I love bedding with an Americana/Nautical feel...and I've found that Tommy Hilfiger does a great line of such linens. One thing I have found, though, is that it's not always easy to create a more formal look when decorating in this style...but adding feminine prints, such as damask, can give it that hint of elegance.
Just mix stripes, polka dots, stars, and more -- it's oo-soo cute!
